"A beautiful building steeped in history and well worth a visit while in New York. The exhibitions are interesting, but the real star is the architecture itself, from the grand entrance to the stunning interior spaces. Come for the exhibits, stay for the architecture. A lovely place to wander, explore and soak up a bit of New York history."

"The New York Public Library is absolutely worth visiting. The architecture is stunning, and the building itself is inspiring. One thing that really stood out to me was the banner that read, “Libraries Are for Everyone.” I thought that was such a simple yet powerful message. If you’re nearby, don’t just admire the building from the outside—step inside and take your time exploring it."

"I was truly impressed by how many exhibitions were available throughout the library. I especially loved the one celebrating 100 years of The New Yorker — beautifully curated and genuinely fascinating. The “Treasures” exhibition wasn’t my favorite, but I have to admit it still had some really interesting pieces worth seeing. More than anything, what stands out the most is the architecture. The building is absolutely imposing and stunning, and every space feels grand and timeless. I was really hoping to enter the Main Reading Room, but at the moment it can only be accessed through scheduled tours, so make sure to book yours in advance. Otherwise, you won’t be able to enter unless you’re a specialized researcher with an appointment. All the other areas are accessible, even during the holiday season crowds."
